The Fire Took Everything

Aerial photos of Cara Delevingne's home, located near Los Angeles, show how destructive the fire was. Most of the roof was destroyed, and the kitchen and bedrooms are clearly visible in the photos as burnt ruins. Nearby trees and the lawn were also seriously damaged by the fire.

Firefighters' Intervention and Consequences

Nearly 100 firefighters arrived at Cara's residence after an emergency call was placed in the early hours of March 15. It took about two hours for the fire to be fully extinguished. Cara Delevingne, who was in London at the time for her role in the West End production of "Cabaret," was safe but devastated by the tragedy. There were concerns that her two cats might not have survived the fire, but the supermodel later reassured fans that her pets were safe and sound.
Cara's parents, Charles and Pandora, informed shortly after the tragic fire that the cause was an electrical fault on a power line during an exceptionally windy night in L.A.
